'Satisfaction' by The Rolling Stones (The English rock band) |
Lyrics of "Satisfaction"
satisfaction,
satisfaction.
'Cause I try and I try and I try and I try.
I can't get no, I can't get no.
When I'm drivin' in my car
and a man comes on the radio
he's tellin' me more and more
about some useless information
supposed to fire my imagination.
I can't get no, oh no no no.
Hey hey hey, that's what I say.
I can't get no satisfaction,
I can't get no satisfaction.
'Cause I try and I try and I try and I try.
I can't get no, I can't get no.
When I'm watchin' my TV
and a man comes on to tell me
how white my shirts can be.
Well he can't be a man 'cause he doesn't smoke
the same cigarrettes as me.
I can't get no, oh no no no.
Hey hey hey, that's what I say.
I can't get no satisfaction,
I can't get no girly action.
'Cause I try and I try and I try and I try.
I can't get no, I can't get no.
When I'm ridin' round the world
and I'm doin' this and I'm signing that
and I'm tryin' to make some girl
who tells me baby better come back later next week
'cause you see I'm on losing streak.
I can't get no, oh no no no.
Hey hey hey, that's what I say.
I can't get no, I can't get no,
I can't get no satisfaction,
no satisfaction, no satisfaction, no satisfaction.

Artist Biography
The Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones are an English rock band, which defines rock 'n' roll and formed in London in 1962. They are the best ever running operation in the history of rock music, having stayed uncontrollably popular and extraordinarily productive over their 30-year career. The group was created by vocalist Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards. Later multi-instrumentalist Brian Jones and pianist Ian Stewart joined followed by Bassist Bill Wyman and drummer Charlie Watts who completed the early lineup.
The Rolling Stones are remarkable in modern popular music for incorporating a variety of musical genres into their recording and performance, eventually making the styles their very own. The band's career is clear, displaying continual allusion and reliance on musical styles like American blues, country, folk, reggae, dance; world music illustrated by the Master Musicians of Jajouka; in addition to traditional English styles that use stringed instrumentation like harps. By casing early rock and roll and blues songs, the band cut their musical teeth and has never stopped playing live or recording cover songs.
They released their first single "Come On.” followed by “"I Wanna Be Your Man," in 1963 which reached number 21 and no.12 in the UK charts respectively. In August, 1965, their first international number-1 hit "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" swept the world and became one of the biggest Stones anthems ever.
After first gaining popularity in the UK, The Rolling Stones toured the US constantly during the "British Invasion". The Rolling Stones till date have released 22 studio albums in the UK and 24 in the US, eight concert albums in UK while nine in the US and many collections. Their latest album, A Bigger Bang, was released in 2005. The Rolling Stones were included into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989, and in 2004 they were positioned number 4 in Rolling Stone magazine's 100 Greatest Artists of All Time. In 2008, Billboard magazine ranked them at number ten on "The Billboard Hot 100 Top All-Time Artists", thereby making them the second most blooming group in the history of Billboard Hot 100 chart.
